In June most of my inlaws also celebrated their wedding anniversaries.. alhamdulillah..the dates are all different, we celebrated our 4th Weeding Anniversary on 4th June 2008, my SIL Angah's 2nd wedding anniversary is on 8th June while my other SIL Alang 1st Anniversary is on 1st June ..masing -masing dah anak seorang anak...:-)))

we just had an early get together in SP to celebrate the anniversaries..takde buat apa special pun, just makan beehun yg my MIL masak ..;-)))..

School Holidays story..2

This school holidays will be quite a busy day for us..We were busy unpacking our things...yessss we're moving.. we're moving out of the island and move to the mainland ( kawasann Dato Seri Wan Azizah )..Its not that we don't like living in Penang..we love it so much..tak perlu bayar tol, the food is great, the people is great..enviroment pun Ok cuma cost of living is quite high..same as living in KL..

Lately staring from this year the current working situation for me is not that good for me where i don't have much time with my little family..working in the industry based makes you have to standby on call for 24 hours..yess its true, handphone jarang offlaa, sometimes called will get in as early as 2-3am if the production line is having a problem..sometimes weekend pun ada problem kena laa datang balik..

3 years working in industry related gave me the best opportunity and experience for me, in the pharmacy area almost none of the pharmacist interested to join the industry..they look it as boring,..being a pharmacist in a pharmaceutical industry is not bad, salalry wise is OK and compatible

i have to think far for the future of Najla and insyaallah her siblings ( jikalau diizinkan ALLAH utk menambahkan rezeki bilangan anak lagi..),,family is very important to me.. and i want to have the space to spend time with my family..at least have the time in another 3 years time to personally send Najla to school..

I am going for retail opportunities to learn about business.. i have got the opportunity as a Assistant M****** at the newly soon to be biggest mall of Jusco in Mainland..yes there are going to establish a new chain of Pharmacy (like guardian/watson/ ) nationwide and i am looking forward to be involve to establish and setup of a new pharmacy under Jusco..a very great opportunity for me,perhaps one day kalau ada rezeki lebih boleh laa jadi boss sendiri,,insyaallah..;-)))

Salary wise offered also Ok..they offered approximately more than what i have earn currently...( alhandulillah )..i am also satisfied with the benefits offered,.. they have agreed to send me for training for approximately 1-2 months in KL to learn about retail setup and operation management..will be bringing Najla along during that time to live with mummy + daddy in TTDI..cuma kena tinggal Shahrir laa becoz dia ngajar..he is ok with that to perhaps come back every weekend..

That's why we will be moving out.. its not worth kalau nak ulang alik everyday from island to mainland..rugi duit naik jambatan RM5.60 ( for jambatan penang toll card holder like us) and also duit minyak + jem yang teruk atas jambatan during peak hours.... ) bila laa jambatan kedua nak siap nie....) but in the meantime i pity shahrir too as he had to ulang alik laa..he does not really mind becoz the journey is approximately 15 -20 minutes aje kalau tak jem atas jambatann ( becoz dia naik moto for sure tak jem punye,,:-PPPPPP ..cuma kalau hujan dia susah sket laaa) .. he also plan to find a school nearer nanti..We also have future plan to purchase another home in Mainland..its worth buying one as an asset..


got to do some packing...we have already angkut some of the barang-barang to our new rented place in Mainland..just a "little " bit more to go..small -small things already almost done only the big ones have to sewa lori laa by end of the month to phase out all our furnitures...

School Holidays story..1

As per the previous post, Pak Mail was here in penang.. he was enjoying himself so much..since Pak Mail is here and have not been to penang before , Yana is working and also its school holidays daddy and i decided to bring Pak Mail jalan -jalan the whole penang island..

Started the journey in the morning,we went to Komtar, Pulau Jerejak jetty,gurney drive, padang kota lama and also not forgetting jalan masjid negeri...also took him across to mainland via ferry and went back to island via the bridge

Arrived back in Penang just in time for Lunch.. went to Batu Maung and have some yummylicious lunch there at Restoran Pen Mutiara ( Kari Kepala ikan, veggie soup,sotong goreng tepung and friend chicken)..Pak Mail commented that the food was delicious..it was also my first time there..Yana tak dapat laa ikut sbb kerja..wanted to pick her up but since she had lots of work to do and her lunch hour was at 1.00pm - 1.50pm so tak jadi laa..the time is so short..

like everyone knows Pak mail had just lost her beloved wife last April..he was still sad on the demise of her lovely wife, Pak Mail cried when he told me regarding the death of Arwah Mak Mah..he said to me "selama ini dia hanya melawat orang meninggal, on 9th April the one he loved yang meninggal " ..how strong his love to Arwah Mak Mah.. He also mention that sometimes selepas prayers semasa membaca doa kekedang teringat kat arwah mengalir air mata..

School out...

Yess its School Holidays.... means Najla is not going to nursery for 2 weeks..Daddy+ Mummy + Shatirah arrived in penang from KL this afternoon together with Pak Mail..Pak Mail last minute decided to ikut sama jalan -jalan ke Penang..

We met them at Juru Autocity once they arrived..we went to Adi's house in Butterworth...Najla having fun main dengan adli sampai riuh satu rumah lari sana sini..main kejar-kejar sana sini..bila bab nak balik Adli tutup pintu rumah and nangis2 tak kasi najla balik..hahahah..so we bring along Adli back to Penang laa sbb dia tak puas lagi main dgn najla..nanti malam mama dgn ayah dia amik..teringat masa kecik2 dulu dgn cousin-cousin mcm tu gaks, tak puas main kat rumah, sleepover

Kat Penang sampai aje mrk berdua sambung main...Yang kelakar kalau tengok mereka berebut naik basikal.Najla riuhh pok pek tak kasi adli naik basikal dia..( punyalaa kedekut..:-PPPP )..last skali kena naik gilir -gilir..adi naik push car, najla naik bike dan tukar-tukar..

Since Pak Mail tak pernah datang penang we will try our best laa utk jamu dia the best food yang ada at our place in penang..perhaps we can go for some seafood hunt..

Computer Kaput

It has been 5 days since our computer kaput..our laptop monitor dah crash due to kena pijak dengan Najla..:-PPPPP...( yes this girl mmglaa sangat lasakkkk...) had ask around penang for repairing our laptop monitor but it is very costly..( ada one shop nak around 2k for the repairing dgn alasan special features utk betulkan monitor laptop brand HP..gila ke apa..baik beli laptop baru..lagi murah gile dari repair)

So we tak ada choise we just bought LCD monitor screen and connect it to our laptop..so jadi laa laptop cum PC like the picture below..( sbb dah tak boleh jadi portable laptop utk bawa ke sana kemari dahh..)..takpelaa we don;t mind because we use it for personal use at home only utk surf internet, type letters etc..anyway perhaps kena tunggu dapat bonus besar laa baru beli laptop baru..ahakssss...

Abah teaches english in SMK Raja Tun Uda Bayan Lepas..he also was in-charge as a school disciplinary teaher for the afternoon session, He will cane the naughty kids ( according to abah the toughest naughty kid pun cry when abah cane them,see how "hard" abah punya penangan rotan..ahakss....)..Abah also have to run around the school to chase them just to ensure that they did not run away from school..( not an easy job but a very good exercise for Abah to loose weight,,hehehe..)..

HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY to my dearest Abah and all the great loving teachers ,ex teachers ( especially my toks from the Hj Othman's clan) + lalso not forgetting the lecturers in my family...:-))) ) lecturers pun teachers juga..:-)))

Mothers DAy

A tribute to all Mum out there..Happy mother's day.. its not easy to be a Mum..especially working Mum where have to juggles between career and also the family needs...For me, family wise is more important than everything..yes i got to agree that most of my Annual leave habis due to attending Najla at the hospital when she was sick, but it does not matter for me..moneywise cannot replace the love..Selamat Hari Ibu utk semua ibu especially to my mum and Mother in law..love you always.. :-))

Good Luck for The Operation

Atuk Daddy in KL will be going for Cataract operation on the left eye at Tun Hussein Onn eye specialist on Monday, his eye sight was affected and the operation is needed.. he will be admitted starting on Sunday night and will be on full anasthethic throughout the whole procedure

will be going back to KL for a short while ( emergency balik as didn't expected that he will be going for the operation this monday ) to visit Atuk..
hopefully everything goes well..PRAYERS AND DOA moga segalanya selamat..

When no one is looking, dia berjalan dengan perlahan -lahan to the refrigerator and open it..she manage to find the chocolate that we bought.. she unwrapped everything sampai togel semua wrapper chocolate dan dengan gembiranya duduk atas sofa tgk tv..:-ppp..habis comot sofa ummi,nasib baik washable....kena hantar dobi laa gamaknye sofa cover tu..heheh...takpelaa..dah banyak makan coklat,jangan malas gosok gigi tau najla..lepas nie kena nyorok semua coklat tempat tinggi -tinggi dlm fridge kalau tak habis laa dia makan itu aje tak mau makan nasi dan lain -lain..

Follow up

Bring her for follow up..alhamdulillah she is Ok..fully recovered...only what worries that Dr Hasanah said that children for her age tend to get it up to 8x per year...very "horror" fact since she had got it twice this year already..hopefully she will not get it again and again..since the infection does not goes down to her lung, she is consider safe,according to Dr Hasanah once she reach 4 years and above, the infection will be very rare...hrrrrrmm now the disease mcm dah jangkit to abah and Ummi laks..abah got a irritable cough while ummi's not feeling well..her body is very hot.. she had drink lots of barley and juice + air cap badak berbotol-botol untuk hilangkan panas badan but still ain't working..

Sick

Najla is sick again..this time quite severe..the diagnosis was Acute Pharyngitis and Otitis Media ( Acute infection of the throat = pharynx and Otitis media = Infection of the middle ear where the ear drum will be red and sowllen ).. She had been infected once in January 2008 and now it is a repeatable ..her temperature shoot up to 39 degrees and although a suppository had been inserted into her rectum to bring down the temperature and had to do sponging of her whole body with cold ice water + coughing non stop every 10 minutes ..we had no choice but to admit her for Pantai Penang for antibiotic treatment via injection at the veins of her tiny hands ..

Her first day at the hospital was quite bad..coughing non stop + vomitting 2-3 times, due to this she could not sleep at all and had to be pun on "drowsy cough syrup cum sleep medicine" infusion for 30 minutes..baru laa terlentok nak tdo..if not asyik batuk and muntah aje...

She had to be given full course of antibiotic every 8- 12 hourly, treatment wise alhamdulilah..her friendly peadtrician, Dr Hasanah gave the best advice on her condition which makes us worry especially her lungs and heart ( due to excessive coughing which actually can make the heart to stop,) ..stay there for 4 nights 3days .. fully jaga by Ummi day and night..

actually had to stay there longer but due to we need to go back to KL on Thursday night to settle some "outstanding " matters with Pejabat tanah and also arwah Ayah's house in Bandar Tun Razak we requested from the peadtrician to be discharge on Thursday afternoon..Her peadtrician give her green light but had to continue her antibiotic in KL and had to bring her again for follow up next week to know her condition..

To my little girl Izzah Najla,
Sorry i am quite busy nowdays..i hope it will be only for a few months time..although u have to spend most of the weekends with Abah for approximately 8 hours..( plus a few hours at night on weekdays...iwe had a great time together during the free hours)...i enjoy watching Kampung Boy with you where you will always "pok pek" the character of Bapak.. Mat..Anna or even Opah..the best part is when you commented us if we didn't hear what you say.. your tiny mouth will say "Ummi and Abah nie tak dengarrr laa.."hahaha..

The most challenging part is to bring you to Tesco after picking you up from Nursery..you will run around the supermarket with most energetic power,touching here and there,forcing me to buy ice cream,sweets,toys,books,biscuits and candy... resulting that it is very -veryy difficult to do shopping.. so we always had to go shopping at night or almost midnight whenever Abah is around..

You also loves to scribble and color..almost all the walls( yikes..we had to paint it back if the owner wanted the house back) and almost all my A4 printing paper were gone..you also likes to pretend as a "garang" teacher with "golf stick" teaching us ABC or Alif Ba Ta which resulted Abah had to create a Manila Cardboard ABC and Alif Ba Ta Chart...

Ummi promise will make up with you during the school holidays nanti in May/ June..we will go for a short Vacation to Damai Laut so we can have a lovely swimming.. Of course its fun to bring other family members or anyone who wants to tag along with us so that we can hae a great time together..

anyone really nak ikut us inform earlier kay ..we plan to go during school holidays end may or early june so we can book 2 sets of 2 bedroom apartment that we got it free accomodation from Swiss Inn..;-))))

Busy..busyyy..Month( for Ummi)

Poor Ummi..this month she has been very -very busy with her daily schedule..she also had to work during Weekends and also occasionally at night.. What to do..so i slightly had spent a little "less" time with ummi especially during weekends but i do enjoy every moment of it..:-))..and i appreciate it as Ummi and Abah had to work very -very hard in order to pay the loans and to save some $$$$ for my future education..Alhamdulillah they already had some "savings" for my future education + also already had purchase a health insurance cum savings ( skrg health insurance very important okie...we don't know what will happen in future..by purchasing insurance at least the medical bills will be fully covered..)

Abah also had taken up some "extra" activities like playing badminton once a week with his friends and also learning self defence ( Silat)..his Silat activity is twice a week ( Tuesday and Friday)..

If rezeki murah perhaps will plan to go for some short vacation anywhere ( Swiss Inn Damai Laut that we get free stay pun belum plan lagi nak pegi bila..maybe the next cuti sekolah in May/June..sighhh kejap aje dh nak masuk April 2008 ) ..
We also have plans to go other places perhaps some places outside Malaysia ( kena buat passport baru laa plak coz yang ada dah expired + Najla tak penah amik gambar passport,this will be quite tough to get her picture duduk diam utk ambil gambar passport..huhuhu..) or plan for Umrah ( this is the best!! )

Updates

Last Saturday was the most awaiting moment for everyone..the 12th General Election..the winners had been notified and syukur for the changes and winning mechanism to the Barisan Rakyat..;-))


Actually this year we did not vote at all..due to ada perkara yang tak dapat di elakkan..Shahrir was supposed to vote in Bandar Tun Razak, Cheras while i was suppose to vote in TTDI.. we did not go back to KL..so on D-day we stay at Penang..it was a quiet day during the hari mengundi in Penang in areas nearby our home like Bayan Baru, bayan Lepas, Pantai Jerjak and Gelugor..In the evening it was raining very- very heavily for at least 2-3 hours..we all say hujan Rahmat..;-)))

at night till the wee hours we were watching Astro for the full result on the election..Astro Awani was the best channel, no bias and gave quite a fair view/coverage for the Election..


Last but not least i am introducing the new Ahli Parlimen for Lembah Pantai who beat up Dato Seri Shahrizat...she is small and young, presenting to u guys, NURUL IZZAH NAJLA...hehehehe

Welcome to the world.. Baby Hananiah Rifqi

baby Hananiah born on 2nd March 2008 in Hospital Sg Petani, Kedah





Congratulations to my aunty, Mak Lang Zura + Pak Lang Rusli on the birth of their baby girl, HANANIAH RIFQI BINTI RUSLI the healthy 3.2kg baby girl was born via caesarean section at hospital Sungai Petani this morning at around 2++ a.m.. now i have another cousin to play with..i have not visited the baby as they are still in the hospital.. Only Abah went alone to visit them.. we will visit them later once they are back home..

From the picture Abah and Ummi said Baby Hananiah looks exactly like me when i was born..hehehe..;-))))))

On Denai Alam home

last weekend we went back to KL for a short while.. we went together with MIL + SIL.. bertolak on Friday night at 8pm from Penang and reach TTDI around 1.30am..our intention was to visit Ayah Uda's wife ( Mak Ngah ) who had been not well since the past one week.. Since Ayah Uda was Arwah ayah's big brother and so close to us we needed to go back to visit her.. Mak Ngah was diagnosed with ESRF ( End stage renal failure),,kesiannya..we felt soooo sorry for her as both her kidneys were gone and she had to depend on dialysis..she was sooo thin and looks fatigue.. she was lucky that her stepdaughter was a specialist so she manage to get the treatment at HKL fast.. hopefully she will be getting much -much better

Since SIL is also around in KL, hubby and my BIL Eg went to Kajang to pick up her stuff to bring back to SP as she had completed her practical and would like to find a job back in SP@ Penang.. her stuff banyak juga laa becoz it was accumulated during her study days in Kuantan..

Befoe we went back to penang on Sunday we had a stop at our Denai alam home in Shah Alam...its ready..and the place was really superb and wonderfull..the house is soooooooooooo big espeially the master bedroom..boleh muat hingga 8 org dlm tue ok..:-PPP.. the kitchen cabinets, grills had been installed..since the name is Denai alam it really fits the place and environment like taman tasik perdana@ titiwangsa with jogging tracks etc,,

Najla also having a great time running around the house and also Adi's house( which is next to our house ) ..spend there around 30 minutes before driving off to penang via the guthrie highway..

we arrived in SP around 5.30pm to send MIL,SIL and unload the barang -barang..after having our dinner and rest for a while around 9.30pm baru bertolak ke Penang..

New Bike

Abah bought me a new bicycle from a bicycle shop near our home..i learn how to ride the bike..it was not bad but still needs abah or ummi to push me around since my legs tak berapa reti nak kayuh ..since i am getting bigger no point to buy a smaller push around bike..might as well buy a bigger one so i can used it until i am five or six year old maybe..now have to ask abah and ummi to bring me for some more cycling activities..

We had got a superb offer for this FREE OF CHARGE ..we need to redeem it fast before offer expires ..ayoyo have to find the time to go on a vacation.. We also got some offer to go anywhere for free accomodation..it was a great opportunity laa kalau nak round the world dgn penginapan free..ahakss..anyway planning to go somewhere juga laa if time and $$$$ permits to travel since this year we have already draft our plan and will be busy juga laa ..anyway sape nak ikut us .......?

What we did for this long Chinese New Year holidays......lepak kat Rumah tgk Astro..., Abah, Ummi and Najla zzzz, Masak kat rumah for Lunch and Dinner, Najla sepahkan dapur+ living room, jalan -jalan kat Tesco Extra Penang to buy some groceries ( which is just located behind our home ) + jalan -jalan kat Queensbay beli baju pi skolah najla ( since all her t-shirt dah tak muat nak masuk kepala and Jusco pun ada sale..) + last but not least family gathering

We also tried out some lovely food kat Queensbay Mall..check this out, the food not bad the price pun OK

Yesss...that's what we called her when she is naughty...hehehe..she can be very tricky and know how to open the fridge,...she will take all the things out of the fridge, yang jadi mangsa was her youghurt and also the eggs...she also knows how to operate our mesin pengurut kaki i -squeeze so we had to put it far away from her eyes..

And she mmg kuat minum susu... ..she will drink at least 6-7x 250ml bottles of milk per day..her appetite is not so good, she just ate a small portion of food and quite a pickery eaters...she loves to eat bake beans,potato,carrot and youghurt minus the rice.. the only rice she ate was nasi ayam or nasi lemak..

on the other hand ummi Najla got some great "offer" ( alhamdulillah ;-) )and Abah Najla had submitted his applicatian form for Postgraduate study in USM..hopefully he got the offer to persue his study in Management and this is a very great opportunity for a new chapter of his career
